08.11.2004 | The European Historic Enactment Network (EHRN) was founded in September 1998 in Spetses (Greece). The whole idea was conceived at the Municipal Development Enterprise of Spetses in February 1998 with the unanimous support of the Municipal Council, which granted to the corporation the entire responsibility of representing the Municipality in the activities of the Network.

08.11.2004 | Based on the need to create and accomplish cultural, educational and financial targets and with the initiative of the town of Spetses (Greece) the cities, towns and regions: BAILEN (Spain), CORK (Ireland), DUBLIN (Ireland), TEWKESBURY (U.K.), HYDRA (Greece), SLAVKOV (Czech), SPETSES (Greece), created a Network of European cities and towns which program and organize enactments of historic events with the title: "European Historical Re-enactment Network".
